Mason Academy’s after-school program was founded in 2006 to provide international students grades 8 through 12 the support they need to be successful in their academic endeavors and to fully prepare them for top level universities.
Our classes are designed to assist the student in their grade level courses and are taught by teachers who are state credentialed or have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in that subject. In addition to supporting the student through a combination of lectures and homework help, our experienced instructors guide the students to incorporate beneficial study habits and efficient organizational skills to fully realize the students’ academic potential.
To further prepare the students for university, Mason also offers other specialized classes such as Current Events/Debate and Literature classes. Then there are our test preparation classes – ACT, SAT, and TOEFL, in which the student learns the test-taking strategies and skills to get the top scores on these tests.
We at Mason Academy partner with our students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to give the students the specialized support that is needed to gain admission in the best colleges and universities.
